Professor Vineeta Sirohi is Head of the Department of Educational Administration at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi. She is holding the position of Honorary Academic Fellow of Australia India Institute, University of Melbourne. She is the Chairperson of Equal Opportunity Cell at NIEPA and a member of Editorial Board of the Journal of Educational Planning and Administration of NIEPA. Awarded with Silver Medal in Post-Graduation (Psychology), she holds M.Phil. and Ph.D degree in Psychology, M.Ed., NET in Education, PG Diploma in Educational and Vocational Guidance and Counselling (NCERT), PG Diploma in Higher Education, and PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. She has over 30 years of experience in teaching, research, training, curriculum and material development, coordination of projects and programmes, administration and counselling, including 12 years of experience in Teacher Education, she also held the position of the Head, Department of Pre-Service Teacher Education.

A National awardee for innovative research paper in All India competition on research in innovative experiments and practices in teaching (NCERT), she presented several research papers in national and international conferences and authored many articles and research papers published in reputed journals. Conducted and reviewed several international and national research studies on skill development and TVET. As Country Expert, she contributed to a major UNESCO Research Study on School to Work Transition in Asia and Pacific, and a study on Curriculum and Skills in South Asia and South East Asia sponsored by Results for Development Institute Washington, DC. Also conducted an All India Study on Involvement of Teachers in Non-Teaching Activities and its Effect on Education sponsored bythe Ministry of Education, Government of India. Prof. Sirohi is leading a Research Study on Scoping demand for niche Australian vocational education and training (VET) in select Indian states funded by Australia- India Institute, Melbourne, Australia. She is a member of the Steering Group for Australia India Institute, Department of Education Projects; Member Training Advisory Board, CBSE; Member, Governing Council SCERT, Delhi; Member, Executive Committee SCERT, Delhi; Member, Recruitment Rules Committee, SCERT, Delhi; Member of the Editorial Team of Indian Journal of Vocational Education PSSCIVE (NCERT); Member of the Institute Advisory Board, PSSCIVE (NCERT). She is also consulted by various State, National and International organizations. Her areas of work include Educational Psychology, Educational Management, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership, Teacher Management, Teacher Education, Skill development and Vocational Education.
